What to Expect from this Class
Learn to protect and strengthen your pelvic floor during pregnancy. A 6-week prenatal exercise series led by a pelvic floor physical therapist and postpartum doula to help you prepare your body for labor, birth, and recovery.
Most prenatal fitness classes focus on movement alone.
Built for Birth combines safe, pregnancy-specific exercise with education about your pelvic floor, breath, and postpartum recovery so you understand why you’re moving and how it supports your body during labor and beyond.
Each session includes:
Guided strength and mobility training
Pelvic floor–safe movement patterns
Nervous system–regulating breathwork you can use during labor and parenting
Postpartum education integrated into every class

Meet Hosts
Rachael Brewer
Class Lead. Rachael is a pelvic floor physical therapist and pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist. She brings clinical expertise in safe movement, rehabilitation, and pelvic health to ensure exercises support not strain your changing body.
SupportJess Brown
Jess is a postpartum doula and educator who has supported numerous families through the transition into parenthood. She integrates practical postpartum planning and recovery education into each session so you leave not only stronger, but more prepared for life after birth.

Shuttle transportation is available to and from camp. Participants can be picked up near the York Street Subway Station on the F subway line. Subway access to the F, G, A, C, 2, 3 and B67.

Yes. All exercises are designed to be pelvic floor–safe and appropriate for low-risk pregnancies. Always consult your provider before starting any exercise program.

This class is designed specifically for pregnant bodies, not athletes. Exercises are scaled and modified so you can participate safely at your current fitness level.
